This Disclaimer applies to YouTube Writer (the "Service"), to all output it generates, and to all content on youtubewriter.com. It forms part of our Terms of Service and should be read together with the disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability in those Terms.

2. AI-Generated Output

Output is generated by a third-party large language model in response to your inputs. Nobody reviews it before it reaches you. You should understand the following about how such models behave:

• Output can be confidently wrong. Language models generate plausible text, not verified fact. They fabricate statistics, quotations, studies, citations, dates, names and events, and they do so in fluent, authoritative prose that reads as though it were checked.

• Output may not be unique. Similar inputs can produce similar or identical output for different users. We do not warrant that your output is original or that no one else will receive something like it, and we grant no exclusivity in it.
• Output may resemble existing material. In some cases generated text may closely resemble third-party work. You are responsible for checking that your use does not infringe anyone’s rights.
• Output may not be copyrightable. Under current United States law, material generated by artificial intelligence without sufficient human authorship may not be eligible for copyright protection. This limits your ability to register or enforce copyright in unedited output, and it is a matter of law that we cannot change by contract.

6. Your Responsibility Before Publishing

You, not we, are the author and publisher of anything you put out into the world. Before publishing content derived from output you must:

2. verify every factual claim, figure, quotation and citation;
3. confirm you have the rights to any names, brands, footage, music or imagery you combine with it;
4. make any disclosure required of you, including disclosure of AI-generated or synthetic content, sponsorship, affiliate links or paid promotion;
5. check compliance with the rules of every platform you publish on, and with any advertising, consumer protection or professional conduct rules that apply to you.

7. No Affiliation with YouTube, Google or Any Platform

YouTube, Google and all related names, marks and logos are trademarks of Google LLC. Any reference to them is descriptive and nominative only, to identify the platform for which the Service helps you draft content. Other product and company names mentioned are the trademarks of their respective owners.

We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the policies or decisions of any platform, including changes to its terms, guidelines, monetization rules or recommendation systems, and any action it takes against your account or content, such as removal, demonetization, restriction, strikes or termination.

8. Service Availability and Third-Party Dependencies

The Service depends on third-party providers, including an AI model provider, a payment processor, an email provider, and hosting and database providers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, and we give no service level commitment unless we have agreed one with you in writing.

Models, features, quotas and plans may change or be withdrawn, and a change by an upstream provider may alter the character or quality of output without notice to us. Stored scripts are provided as a convenience and not as a backup service; keep your own copies of anything you need.

9. External Links and Third-Party Content

This website and the Service may link to third-party websites, tools or resources. We do not control them, do not endorse them by linking to them, and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, security or practices. Your dealings with any third party are solely between you and them.
